A fun Sydney Christmas activity that your kids will love is attending one of the Christmas pantomimes or Christmas shows Sydney wide. Christmas pantomimes originated in England and are a type of musical comedy. They usually include songs, gags, slapstick humour and dancing, and are based on well known fairy tales. Audience participation is encouraged in the form of singing along or shouting out phrases to the performers. Pantomimes are especially popular during the Christmas season.
