Chocolate Christmas trees and chocolate wreaths are spectacular edible Christmas table centrepieces for the festive season. They look absolutely amazing on the table and taste delicious too. A chocolate Christmas tree, chocolate wreath or Christmas hamper are also great Christmas gifts to give when invited to a Christmas gathering.
It can however be confusing deciding which Christmas store to buy your chocolate Christmas bouquets online from, and you may be hesitant to buy one due to concerns about how well the chocolate bouquet will fare in transit from the store to your front door. So to help you decide I’ve written this review of my experience ordering a chocolate Christmas tree bouquet and chocolate Christmas wreath from Tastebuds.
The items I ordered from Tastebuds included a Chocolatier’s Choice Christmas Bouquet (Chocolate Christmas Tree), a Mistletoe Magic Wreath and a Home For The Holidays Christmas hamper.

Tastebuds Chocolate Christmas Tree Review
I have always wanted to buy a chocolate Christmas tree to be the centrepiece of my Christmas table. Christmas trees are synonymous with Christmas and always look amazing. Tastebuds has a selection of beautiful chocolate Christmas trees in different colours ranging from traditional green trees with red and gold chocolate decorations, to blue and silver chocolate Christmas trees and even a pink chocolate Christmas tree.
I chose the Chocolatier’s Choice Christmas Bouquet. This spectacular chocolate tree is approximately 40cms tall containing 30 decadent Chocolatier Belgian milk chocolate stars wrapped in gold with a sparkly gold star tree topper. The tree comes in a cute black reusable keepsake tin. If you are gifting this tree to a friend you can also order a free personalised gift card to accompany it.
Prior to receiving this Christmas tree I must admit I was a bit concerned about how it would fare in transit but I need not have worried about this. My chocolate Christmas tree from Tastebuds was extremely well packed. It arrived in a made to measure box lined with insulating silver bubble wrap. The tree was wrapped in plastic that was secured with a Tastebuds ribbon at the top and there were two recyclable large inflatable air cushions protecting the top of the tree. If any of the chocolate stars do fall out in transit it is easy to see the holes where they fell out from and super easy to replace them back into those holes in the florist foam base.
I was so happy with this exquisite edible Christmas tree. It looked even more impressive than what I was expecting and it received numerous compliments and squeals of delight from my family.

Tastebuds Christmas Chocolate Wreath Review
The second chocolate Christmas bouquet I ordered from Tastebuds was the Mistletoe Magic Wreath, an absolutely stunning festive red, green and gold coloured chocolate wreath.
This stunning wreath features 24 Chocolatier Belgian milk chocolate stars in red and gold wrapping and assorted red and green sparkly and matte Christmas baubles. I especially love the included sparkly red baubles as they add that extra touch of Christmas magic.
I chose this beautiful wreath design to use as a spectacular festive centrepiece on our Christmas dining table to add a special Christmas WOW factor. I like the low profile of it that won’t block my guests’ views of each other which a taller table centrepiece could do.
This edible Christmas wreath is also a wonderful way to send Christmas best wishes to family and friends anywhere in Australia.
Like the above chocolate Christmas tree this Christmas chocolate wreath arrived well packed in a suitably sized cardboard box lined with insulating silver bubble wrap. Some of the chocolate stars had fallen out in transit but were relatively easy to replace into the wreath.
I would happily order this edible Christmas wreath and chocolate Christmas tree again next year.

Tastebuds Home For The Holidays Christmas Hamper Review
The third item I ordered from Tastebuds was the Home For The Holidays Christmas Hamper. Christmas hampers are the perfect Christmas gift for family, friends and colleagues. Tastebuds has Christmas hampers to suit everyone’s tastes and budget.
My Home For The Holidays Christmas hamper came in a sturdy cardboard box with a Christmas sleeve around it and contained a bottle of Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz, a box of Valley Produce Co Cracked Black Pepper Cracker Thins and Cranberry Hazelnut Crackers, Kelly’s Candy Co Chocolate Coated Rocky Road Bites and a Whittaker’s Coconut Slab and Hokey Pokey Crunch mini slab. It was the perfect mix of savoury and sweet goodies with a good quality red wine included also.
The Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz is produced from premium vineyards in South Australia and has a bold bodied well balanced flavour. The bottle was securely wrapped in a protective foam wrapper in the hamper to prevent any in-transit mishaps.
Christmas hampers are one of my most loved Christmas gifts to receive and give.
